Good morning,
I’m in need of help , my daughter is currently incarcerated at Elmwood womens facility, she was told she was informed she was pregnant, she.was in severe.pain on Friday and alerted the officer Mancia # 11589 , that she needed help, officer.Mancia failed to get her help right away, my daughter who is a.high risk pregnancy, ended miscarriaging, and it took three other officers to step it up.and called an ambulance for her. I know she’s in there for something she did but she’s still human. please help me get the help me get to address this issue. thank you
I’m so sorry to hear about what your daughter went through. No one should have to experience that, and you have every right to seek answers and accountability.
You may want to take the following steps:
File a Formal Complaint – Contact the prison’s medical unit, warden, and internal affairs department to report the incident. Request a written response regarding their actions.
Reach Out to Advocacy Organizations – Groups like The ACLU’s Prison Project, The National Prison Pregnancy Project, or The Prison Law Office may be able to provide guidance.
Contact an Attorney – A civil rights attorney or prisoners’ rights lawyer can help assess legal options regarding medical neglect.
State Prison Oversight – If she’s in a state facility, you can also file a complaint with the Department of Corrections’ Ombudsman or Inspector General.
Public Support & Awareness – Consider reaching out to local advocacy groups, media outlets, or your elected officials to bring attention to the issue.
Good morning,
I am very desperate for help. My husband is currently incarcerated in High Desert Prison. He was sentenced 4 to 10 years. Our children is already adopted. And I have not seen my children since May 3rd of 2022.
The judge has given me a no contact order with my husband as well. I am trying so hard to stay sane but it is so hard.
I am hoping that you’ll be able to help me to have atleast a visit with my husband please. I just want to see him at least since I cannot see or be with my children. Please help me
