About Me:

Education & Training

Julia Lazareck understands that when someone is incarcerated, their family serves a hidden sentence of its own — one carried quietly, without a court date or an end in sight, and too often without anyone to turn to. As an author, speaker, and advocate, she gives language to an experience most people never see, working to raise awareness of how incarceration ripples through families and communities and to replace stigma with understanding. Her efforts include initiatives focused on children of incarcerated parents, as well as the workshops, support platforms, and educational resources at the heart of PFA’s work — all guided by a single conviction: no one should go through this alone.
