Education & Training

Dr. Frank holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology and a Master of Studies in Law. For more than 12 years, her research, teaching, and community engagement have focused on aging within correctional settings, health and well-being among incarcerated individuals, and the challenges families face during incarceration and reentry. She has worked directly with incarcerated populations, contributed to research that informs policy and practice, and is dedicated to advancing education, advocacy, and evidence-based approaches that improve outcomes for individuals, families, and communities affected by the criminal legal system.
